Mission
To provide advocacy on behalf of low-income job seekers and support the enhancement of services for the organizations that serve these populations.

Focus of Our Work
Advocacy

  • Advocate for low-income unemployed and underemployed residents within the Franklin County area
Service Enhancement

  • Member agencies will work with each other and the larger community to design, develop, and implement joint projects and strategies that support the target population by;

    • Addressing current services gaps
    • Enhancing capacity to deliver services
  • Facilitate the sharing of information across agencies
  • Facilitate the sharing of workforce development models and strategies among member organizations
  • Provide information and offer professional development training related to career and workforce areas for all levels of member agency staff
  • Assist member organizations to obtain industry recognized credentials and certifications
  • Encourage the use of the common web-based tracking and reporting system that facilitates on-line customer referrals and provides data for research and advocacy
